Solitude Farm is situated near Siddhartha Farm on the Edayanchavadi Road, at
Auroville in
Pondicherry. Covering an area of 6 acres, it has Auroville capsules (native huts made of bamboo, casuarina and thatch) surrounding an existing open well. The farm mainly produces
rice. Other crops grown are peanuts, vegetables, orchard, ulundu, dal, cambu, samai, sesame, varagu, tenai and
ragi.
Accommodation facilities are also available for visitors. Pondicherry Railway Station is the nearest railhead.
