Sokh and Dokh Lakes


Sokh and Dokh are two frozen lakes located at the Harmukh Mountain in Kupwara District of Jammu and Kashmir. Legend says that the lakes are the two tear drops of Parvati; one a warmer one showing happiness and the other a cold drop indicating grief.
