Sishya School was founded in 1972 by K I Thomas. The school is run by the KIT Educational Society. It is a higher secondary school affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination,
New Delhi. There are separate buildings for different levels of classes. Facilities of the school include a library with a multimedia section and an audiovisual room, an art department and laboratories. Extra curricular activities such as games and sports, dance, drama, singing, debates, and elocution are also promoted for the development of the overall skills of the students.
