Shukra or Venus is one of the
navagrahas. Shukra stands for worship of beauty and for poetry and imagination. It also represents the enjoyment, taste, sexuality and relationships of the individual.
Shukra is said to be auspicious when it comes in Meena Rashi (Pisces) and least auspicious in Kanya Rashi (Virgo). Venus is lord of the sign Vrishabha (Taurus) and also of Tula (Libra) and of the houses where these signs are located.
