Shukla Yajurveda

Shukla Yajurveda is one of the two branches of Yajur Veda enumerated by Lord Surya to Rishi Yaajnavalkya in the form of Vaaji. It follows the Aditya sampradaya (the school of Aditya.) There are seventeen branches of Sukla Yajurveda found quoted in various puranas, among them Vaajasaneya and Kanva Samhita are available now. The Vaajasaneya Samhita is the most popular and it contains 40 chapters of mantras in the form of mixed poetry and prose.
