Shiv Parvathi Cave Shrine




Shiv Parvati Cave Shrine is an ancient temple located in Moungri village, in the Panchari block of Udhampur District. It consists of two caves, measuring 20 and 25 feet in length. Major point of attraction here is a naturally formed 9.5 feet high Shiva lingam. Also found are the images of Joint Parvati Lingam on the left, Damroo beat at the right, Shesh Nag, Nandi, Shankhas, Amrit Kund and other countless images of Hindu religion. The temple was discovered only recently on 14th September, 1998.
