Shikhar Shingnapur Temple

Shikhar Shingnapur is an ancient temple in Satara District of Maharashtra and is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It lies atop a hill on the Satara-Akluj road and is about 90 km from Satara. Mahashivaratri is a major festival celebrated here. Shivaji Maharaj used to visit the temple.
