Shaukat Mahal

Shaukat Mahal is located at the entrance of Chowk area, Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. The mahal is a strange mixture of Indo-Islamic and European styles of architecture. It was designed by a Frenchman, said to be a descendent of an offshoot of the Bourbon Kings of France.

The Sadar Manzil and the Gohar Mahal situated nearby are worth visiting.
