Started in 1976, Shankar Benevolent Foundation (SBF) is a nonprofit charitable organization at Thiruvanmiyur in
Chennai. It provides financial support to needy students for professional education as well as primary health facilities to the poor.
The organization has a primary health center where treatments and medicines are offered freely. Health camps for eye treatments are conducted. Donations are accepted.
