Shakargarh Dam




Shakargarh Dam, built on a local river, is an earthen dam situated near Mal ka Khera village in Bhilwara District. It consists of 1,773 m long earthen bund with 90 m long spillway. This earthen dam is mainly constructed for irrigation purpose. It has a total length of 2,172 m and a height of around 12 m. With a total catchment area of 74.24 sq km, the dam has a live storage capacity of 134.59 Mcft.
