Seethathode is a village in
Pathanamthitta District of
Kerala. The greater parts of the village are forest areas, which come under the Ranni Forest Division. Kakkad Power House, the power generating station of the Kerala State Electricity Board, is situated here.
Seethathode is about 34 km from Pathanamthitta. Chengannur Railway Station serves the village.
The main attractions in this panchayat is ' Gavi', a famous tourist destination enroute from Moozhiyar Hydro Electric Project ,kakki dam, Anathodu dam to thekkady, fully through virgin forests.
