Saturn is one of the navagrahas (nine grahas or planets) revered in Hindu religion. It is the most malefic planet and is very selfish and cunning. It represents death, politics, gas, aero planes, poverty, servants, electronics and legs. It has blue color, blue sapphire gem and its direction is west.
As per Hindu tradition, offerings and rituals have to be done at temples by the person on whom the impact of Saturn is charged.
