Satna River




Satna, one of the major rivers in Madhya Pradesh, originates form Panna Hills in Vindhya Range. The main stream flows through the eastern part of Satna District and its southern course flows through Nagod and Rekwar towns. Kathkone is the place where the river joins Amran River and from this point of junction the river bends towards south and forms a boundary between Nagod and Raghuraj Nagar. Finally, the river meets the Tons a few miles away from Satna town.
