Satchinathar Temple

Satchinathar Temple is located at Tiruppurambayam in Thanjavur District. The village of Tiruppurambayam is near Kollidam and Manniyaru. The temple is 10 km from Kumbakonam. The presiding deity of the temple is Lord Shiva in the form of Satchinathar. Goddesss Karumpana Sollammao is also worshipped there. The Saints Sambandar, Appar, and Sundarar have sung Pathigams (devotional songs) in praise of Satchinathar.
