Sarahan




Sarahan is one of the prominent tourist locales in Sirmaur District of Himachal Pradesh. It lies in the western side of the district, at an elevation of 1,668 km from sea level, offering enchanting views of the plains on one side and the ice-topped Choordhar Peak on the other side. Nahan, the district headquarters, is nearly 45 km away and Solan, the headquarters of Solan District, is roughly 50 km north.

Rani Tal, Jaitak Hills, Jaitak Fort, Trilokpur Temple and Saketi Fossil Park are accessible from here.

Sarahan is linked with Nahan and Solan by road. Chandigarh Airport and Solan Railway Station serve Sarahan.
