Sanyasa

According to Manu Smriti 'Sanyasa' is the final phase of man. In this phase a man leaves all worldly thoughts and desires, and leads the rest of his life in a spiritual way. A person who lives in this style is called a 'Sanyasi.' Preceded phases include Brahmacharya, Grihastha and Vanaprastha. 'Sanyasa' is a Sanskrit word in which 'San' stands for integration and 'nyasa' for 'path.'
