Sanyas Ashram




Sanyas Ashram is a unique temple complex located in Vile Parle, a western suburb of Mumbai.

Founded by Mahamandleshwar Swami Maheshwarananda Giri Maharaj, it is a place of devotion, peace and comfort. The extensive complex has numerous shrines dedicated to almost all the deities of the Hindus.

The ashram regularly conducts classes on the Vedas and other scriptural texts. It has a residential college for Sanskrit students up to graduation and post graduation. The ashram publishes a periodical spiritual magazine called ‘Atmachetna’.

Vile Parle Railway Station is on the Santa Cruz-Andheri line of Mumbai Suburban Railways.
