Sanstaraka

Santharag



Sanstaraka is a revered text belonging to the Jain canonical literature. It belongs to a collection of texts, called Prakirna Sutras, which deal with the miscellaneous subjects related to Jainism. It is also referred by the name Santharag.

Sanstaraka deals with a religious procedure called Samthara, which is accepting death by one’s own wish. This text holds this process in high esteem and attaches glory to it.
