Saduragiri Sundara Mahalingam Temple is an ancient temple near
Watrap in
Virudhunagar District. It lies in the Thaniparai area of Saptur Reserve Forests and the temple is dedicated to
Lord Shiva.
The presiding deity is worshipped in the form of a Shivling. Legends have it that Sri Sundaranandar, the disciple of siddhar Sattamuni, got the Shivling from Sage Agastya and he consecrated it at Saduragiri.
