Risgaon is located in the southern parts of
Raipur District. It is around 35 km south of
Bindra Nawagarh.
The town is about 8 km east of Khalari and 17 km west of Bardula. It is surrounded by other neighboring towns such as Pharasgaon (15 km west), Sankra (21 km north), Taurenga (18 km east) and Hattigam (13 km south).
Nearest airport is Raipur Airport. Raipur Junction Railway Station serves Risgaon.
