Richard's Pipit (Anthus novaeseelandia) is a medium-sized passerine bird. It is mainly brown above and pale below. The bird has long legs and tail and a long dark bill. It often stands upright.
Its flight is strong and direct and it gives a characteristic explosive 'shreep' call. The species is insectivorous.
The bird can be spotted in Keoladeo Ghana National Park, Rajasthan.
