Red Lory

Red Lory (Eos bornea) is a red bird with blue vent and under-tail coverts. It has black and red wings and blue coverts. Eyes are red, beak orange, and legs charcoal. Its tongue has elongated papillae on tip that become erect when feeding. It feeds on nectar, pollen and fruit supplemented with seeds and grain.
