Raudat Tahera




Raudat Tahera is a marble mosque erected by the Dawoodi Bohra Muslims. This mosque, inspired by a mosque in Cairo, was built in memory of their spiritual leader, Dr Syedna Taher Safuddin. The cubic volume mausoleum is square in plan and placed to one side of a marble covered courtyard. The mausoleum has four silver doors, 17 arches and it is air-conditioned. The holy Quran is inscribed in gold on the inner walls.
