Ratnagirishwar Temple

The Ratnagirishwar temple is one of the many dedicated to Lord Shiva at Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Here Shiva is in one of his manifold aspects, known by the name Ratnagirishwar. Other deities worshipped in this ancient temple include Lord Ganesh, the Navagrahas (the nine planets of the Solar System) and other guardian deities.

The temple services start at 5:30 am and go on till 8 pm. The temple is closed at noon.
