Raoli is a picturesque village located about 14 km from
Purthi in the
Lahaul and Spiti District of
Himachal Pradesh. It lies at an altitude of about 2,450 m above sea level, on the
Manali -
Chamba - Sach Pass trek route in
Pangi Valley. The
Chenab River flows near Raoli.
Nearby tourist destinations include Purthi,
Traila, Sach Village,
Killar, Mindhal Basan Devi Temple, Bindrabani,
Alyas, Kugti,
Tindi, Bharmaur, Dharamsala, Chamba and Udaipur. It is an ideal base for trekking and mountaineering. Base camps are available.
Nearest airport is the Gaggal Airport and the nearest railway station is at Pathankot. Raoli is connected by road to Keylong.
