Rangrik

Rangrik is a picturesque hamlet situated 52 km from Losar in Lahaul and Spiti District, Himachal Pradesh. It lies at an altitude of about 3,700 m in the Spiti Valley. Surrounded by meadows, Rangrik lies at the confluence of Ratang and Spiti rivers. Trek to Ladakh begins from here. The ruins of an ancient monastery can be seen around. Nearby attractions are Hansa, Kye Monastery, Kaza, Kibber Sanctuary, Dhankar, Attargo and Losar. Rangrik is an ideal base for trekking. Accommodation facilities are available. Nearest airport is Kullu Manali Airport at Bhuntar. Nearest major railway stations are Shimla Railway Station and Joginder Nagar Railway Station . Rangrik is connected to Kaza and Losar by road.
