Rang Mahal




Rang Mahal, an imposing structure, is located in Buria, in Yamunanagar District of Haryana. It is believed to have been built during the rule of Shah Jahan. There is also a belief that Rang Mahal was built by Birbal and Emperor Akbar stayed here for a month.

Surrounded by sugarcane and paddy fields, Rang Mahal is a double-storied square-shaped structure. Rang Mahal, however in a ruined state, is noted for its beautifully carved arches and columns which are graced with paintings done in vivid colors.
