Rameshwaram Port

Rameshwaram Port is situated in latitude 9 degree 15 ' N and longitude 79 degree 29’ E in the east and is in north-eastern extremity of Rameshwaram in Ramanathapuram District.

It is about 11 km northeast of Pamban and about 16 km northwest of Dhanushkodi. The port serves Ramanathapuram, Sivagangai and Virudhunagar Districts. It is an open roadstead port with the facilities of passenger terminal station, cargo-cum-baggage shed, repatriates dining hall, jetty, signal station and flag-mast for flag signaling.
