Ramadan

Ramadan, the sacred month, is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar. The word was originated from the Arabic word ‘Ramadha’ which literally means ‘Intense heat’. Belief is that, it was in this month Allah revealed the first verses of the holy Quran. Fasting in entire month is the significance of this month. The sighting of the new moon at the end of this month heralds the celebration of Id-ul-Fitar.
