Rajinder Singh Bedi

Popular Punjabi Novelist

Rajinder Singh Bedi, a distinguished Punjabi and Urdu writer, was born in 1915. His popular works include 'Dana-o-Daam' and 'Grehan'. The Sahitya Akademi awarded Rajinder Singh Bedi with its prestigious award for his novel 'Ek Chadar Maili Si', which was later adpted for a Hindi movie. He passed away in 1984.
