Raja Ram Mohan Roy Library Foundation
Raja Ram Mohan Roy Library Foundation is an autonomous organisation established by the Department of Culture, Ministry of Tourism and Culture, Government of India, to support public library services and system. Its aim is to provide financial and technical assistance to libraries and to encourage library movement in the country. There are 22 members comprising eminent educationists, librarians, administrators and senior officials. The foundation works in close connection with state governments and Union Territory Administrations through State Library Planning Committee.
It has four Zonal offices located at Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi and Chennai.
