Rainbow Lory

Rainbow Lory's (Trichoglossus haematodus) forehead and front of the crown are bluish mauve, with the coloration extending down on the front of the cheeks. The rest of the head is brownish black. The neck is yellowish green and the breast is red with bluish black edging. A striking yellow band is visible on the underside of the flight feathers. Bill is a distinct orange red color.
