Tagore Memorial Museum



Rabindra Bhavana (Tagore Memorial Museum), set up in 1942 is at Shantiniketan, West Bengal. It houses personal collections of Rabindranath Tagore and gifts made to him from India and other countries. The museum includes a library section and a general section. Old age paintings, manuscripts, and letters written by famous personalities, photographs, and voice-records of the poet are exhibited. Film shows are conducted on special occasions. Guide services are provided to the visitors on request. Summer visiting hours: Thursdays to Tuesdays 07:00-11:00 hrs.

Winter visiting hours: Thursdays to Mondays 10:30-16:30 hrs.

Tuesdays: 10:30-13:00 hrs.

Closed on Wednesdays.

Entry is free of cost.
