Rabi-ul-Awwal

Rabi-ul-Awwal, meaning the first month of spring, is the third month of the Islamic calendar. According to Gregorian calendar, it falls between April and May. The Holy Prophet Muhammad was born on the 12th day of this month and hence it is significant in the history of Islam. To commemorate this day the Muslims celebrate Id-e-Milad-un-Nabi.
