Raasi Art Gallery, located at Adyar,
Chennai, was set up with the aim to promote traditional South Indian art forms. It focuses on the ancient art forms of South India, which are in the brink of extinction due to lack of patronage and adequate support. Raasi works primarily on three areas: research, education and training, and support to artists.
Raasi has tie-up with 15 different art groups and the gallery showcases more than 250 paintings. Raasi Art Gallery exhibits some of the finest pieces of Mysore paintings, done by well-trained and talented artists and art groups.
