Puthalam

Spanning over an area of 12 sq km, Puthalam is a small town situated near Kanyakumari in Kanyakumari District, Tamil Nadu. Mandaikadu is situated in the south-east, Kottaram in the east and Suchindram in the north. Bagavathi Amman Temple at Mandaikadu, Arulmigu Shri Ramar Temple at Kottaram, Thovalai, Sanguthurai Beach, Kanyakumari Beach and Vattakottai are nearby attractions. Accommodation facilities are available at Hotel Cape Residency, Hotel Singaar International and Samudra Hotel in Kanyakumari. Trivandrum International Airport is the nearest airport. Kanyakumari Railway Station serves the town. Puthalam can be approached from Nagercoil and Kanyakumari by road.
