Pungi

Pungi, a musical instrument, is widely used by snake charmers. It is made of bottle gourd, which takes after a light bulb. Also included are two reeds (flute shape), which are attached with bees-wax. These reeds are known as Jivala, and consist of seven holes. Of the two reeds, one controls the melody and the other is for the drone. Pungi is a major accompaniment for religious purposes and music in India.
