Pudur

Pudur is a town in the northern side of Tuticorin District, close to Virudhunagar District border. It is surrounded by Kottur in the west, Pandalkudi in the north, Ramaswamipatti in the east and Kadalkudi in the south. Vilathikulam, a prominent town and taluk headquarters, is 17 km south of Pudur.

Ettayapuram, Panchalankurichi, Ottapidaram, Kovilpatti and Kazhugumalai are places of interest in the neighborhood.

Madurai Airport is 57 km north and Kovilpatti Railway Station is 39 km west. Satur Railway Station is another railhead nearby. Pudur can be reached from Tirunelveli, Madurai and Tuticorin.
