Priyadarsini Service Organisation is a non-governmental, non-profitable, secular and voluntary social service organization based at Akkayyapalem in Visakhapatnam District. It works for the betterment of women and children through education.
The organization has a home for the aged, non-formal education centers, four schools, integrated schools for physically handicapped and mentally retarded, family counseling center and working women hostel. There is a residential school for deaf and dumb at Rajahmundry, East Godavari District. The vocational training center trains youth in computer, typing, tailoring and embroidery, bookbinding and car driving.
The organization provides integral services to street children. Counseling, treatment and rehabilitation on AIDS are available. CHILDLINE project saves children from drug problems and sexual abuse.
