Premachala

Premachala, or Govardhana Hill, lies near Paranur in Viluppuram District. It lies on the Paranur-Mugaiyoor road.

Annakoodothsavam (offering of rice) takes place here during the Brahmotsavam of Sri Radhika Ramana Baktha Kolahalan Temple. Devotees cook rice and pongal at the foothills and offer to the god. The hill is noted for its shape.
