Prema Sarovara Kunda




Prema Sarovara Kunda is a sacred site situated about 2 km north of Varsana in Mathura District. This place is connected with Lord Krishna and Radha. Folklore has it that Prema Sarovar Kunda was formed from the tears of Lord Krishna and Radha. Another legend says that Krishna dug this kund with his flute to get water for his cows. The famous Prem Bihari Temple is located on the left side of this kunda. Mathura Junction Railway Station and Agra Civil Enclaves are the nearest railhead and airport.
