Prakirna Agams




Prakirna Agams form an important part of the Jain canonical literature. These texts deal with the miscellaneous topics in Jainism. The texts include topics such as the prayers to be offered to the deities, the process of fasting, meditation and palmistry.

There are total 10 texts in this collection. But they are followed by only some sub-sects belonging to the shwetambara sect of Jain religion. The texts are namely; Chatuh Sharana, Aatur Pratyakhyana, Bhakti Parijna, Sanstaraka, Tandulavaitalika, Chandra Vedhyaka, Devendra Stava, Ganita Vidya, Mahapratyakhyana and Veerastava.
