Poshi Punam

Poshi Punam falls on the full-moon day in the month of Posh (January-February). During this day the sister observe a fast for the whole day. After obtaining permission from her brother, she takes the food in the presence of moon. Poshi Punam is a festival which depicts the intimacy between sister and brother.
