Pooran Poli is a very popular Maharashtrian, and Gujarati dish. The main ingredient in Pooran poli is jaggery. Besides ghee, gram dal powder and wheat flour is also used. Cardamom is used for flavour. Pooran Poli is a good snack by itself as it is sweet. Served hot, it enhances the taste.
