Ponthanpuzha

Located on the state highway connecting Punalur and Muvattupuzha, Ponthanpuzha is a small hamlet in Kottayam District. It is a beautiful place between Makkapuzha and Manimala. The Ponthanpuzha reserve forest, which spread over Pathanamthitta and Kottayam districts, is a major ecotourism hotspot. Other tourist places are Karikkattor, Cheruvalli, Kadayanickadu and Pulickallu. The nearest railway station is Kottayam Railway Station.
