Polo Park

Polo Park is a small botanical garden on a hillock in Naharlagun, Papum Pare District. It is famous for the cane thicknet, looks like a palm, with spines on its stems, but growing as a bush.

There is a small Zoo adjoining this park. Handicrafts Center run by the industries department offers a good range of shawls, carpets, carved caskets and the beautiful cane and bamboo work.

Naharlagun is about 10 km from Itanagar. Harmuti Railway Station is the nearest railhead.
