Piplav



Piplav, better known as Ashapuri, is a village in Anand District of Gujarat. This village is believed to have been established in the 12th century. Patels are the inhabitants here and the main occupation is agriculture.

A popular pilgrim spot, Piplav houses the shrine of Goddess Ashapuri. A major draw is an annual festival held here during the month of Bhadarva. Thousands of people assemble here during this occasion.
