Pimpalgaon Joga Dam

Pimpalgaon Joga Dam is positioned at Malshej Ghat in Maharashtra. This long bund blocks the Pushpavati River, which springs out from the Ghat. As the river swells during monsoon, the best season to visit is from July to September.

Harishchandragad Fort, Kedareshwar Caves and the ancient Buddhist Caves at Lenyadri make the trip worthy.

Accommodation is available in Flamingo Hill Resort (4 km away). The nearest railhead is at Kalyan (86 km) and airport is at Mumbai (154 km).
