Phirtse La is situated at a height of about 5,489 m in
Ladakh, in the
Leh District of
Jammu and Kashmir. The area is ideal for trekking. Trekkers can camp at the bottom of the pass.
Pony services are available for trekkers and tourists through this pass. On the journey, one gets the stunning views of the Zanskar Valley and Himalayan ranges. Sarchu can be reached via Phirtse La from Zanskar. The village of Tangtse lies near this pass.
