Periyathalai

Periyathalai is located in the southern side of Tuticorin District and is about 53 km from Tirunelveli. Sattankulam, the taluk headquarters, is 14 km north and Tisaiyanvilai of Tirunelveli District is 9 km west.

Manapad is a picturesque coastal village at about 8 km away. Kulasekarapattinam, Kayalpatnam and Kurumbur are the nearby tourist spots. The Hindu pilgrim center of Tiruchendur and the Vaishnavite center of Alwar Tirunagari lie close to Periyathalai.
